Target Audience: The course is designed for staff who interact with internal and external customers such as students, colleagues, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders using written communication directly.

Overall Aim: The aim of the workshop is to help staff develop first-rate business etiquette when corresponding with customers using written communications with a strong focus on email.  Participants will learn the essential skills required to converse with customers in a professional and competent manner in order to portray a professional image and compose clear and concise messages. They will also learn when it’s the appropriate time to pick up the phone versus writing emails; thereby avoiding misunderstandings and ensuring better communication.
